Research in e-NVISION project has been focused on
four relevant construction processes:
e-Tendering,
e-Procurement,
e-Site
and
e-Quality, where "e" stands both for electronic and envisioning.
These envisioning scenarios try to incorporate to their process definition
new aspects such as customer perceived value, whole life performance,
legal, social, economic, trust and if possible, sustainability aspects,
but bearing in mind the integration with existing enterprise applications.
The following document provides a brief summary of the first two public
deliverables D2.1 and D2.2 developed in the project. In these deliverables,
a new vision for the future e-Business scenarios of construction SMEs
has been described - as defined by project partners (see
www.e-nvision.org for more detailed descriptions).
This short document is a support document to allow external agents of
the Construction Sector to participate in the evaluation of the e-Business
scenarios and requirements defined in the e-NVISION project. These requirements have to
be fulfilled so that the envisioning scenarios can take place.
At the end of the document the readers can find a questionnaire for
them to provide their opinion and impressions.
